THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 248
CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...SEVERE THREAT WILL SPREAD EAST ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF
WW248 BY 22Z.

DISCUSSION...WELL DEFINED MCS CONTINUES ITS PROGRESSION ACROSS SRN
MN. LATEST RADAR DATA SUGGESTS LEADING EDGE OF STRONGEST CONVECTION
IS MOVING EAST AT ROUGHLY 35KT WITH THE STRONGEST UPDRAFTS LOCATED
ALONG THE MN/IA BORDER...ESPECIALLY WINNEBAGO CO IN IA WHERE VERY
LARGE HAIL IS LIKELY OBSERVED. GIVEN THE CURRENT SPEED/MOVEMENT IT
APPEARS THE GREATEST SEVERE THREAT WILL MIGRATE TOWARD THE ERN EDGE
OF THE WATCH BETWEEN 21-22Z.
