SURFACE ANALYSIS SHOWS SHARP LOW PRESSURE TROUGH ACROSS SERN VA INTO
NC...WITH VERY STRONG PRESSURE RISES BEHIND THE COLD FRONT. ALONG
THE FRONT...A LOW TOPPED AND STRONGLY FORCED LINE OF SHALLOW
CONVECTION HAS MATERIALIZED...IN THE WAKE OF THE EARLIER CONVECTION.
DAMAGING WINDS GUSTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS LINE AND AT LEAST
ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE WIND GUSTS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE UNTIL THE
FRONT MOVES OFFSHORE.
