MESOSCALE DISCUSSION 0294
NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK

AREAS AFFECTED...NERN AND ECNTRL FL PENINSULA

CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL

VALID 192332Z - 200130Z

SCATTERED CONVECTION WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS NERN FL WITH
THE POTENTIAL FOR LARGE HAIL. HOWEVER...SEVERE ACTIVITY SHOULD
REMAIN ISOLATED AND A WW IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.

THUNDERSTORMS WERE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP ALONG A SEA BREEZE FRONT
ALONG THE ERN COAST OF FLORIDA. MODERATELY UNSTABLE AIR COMBINED
WITH 0-6 KM SHEAR OF 55 KNOTS WERE CREATING FAVORABLE SHEAR
PROFILES FOR ROTATING STORMS AND ISOLATED LARGE HAIL. LOW-LEVEL
STORM RELATIVE HELICITY VALUES BELOW 100 M2/S2 AND INSUFFICIENT
UPPER-LEVEL DPVA SHOULD KEEP SEVERE STORMS ISOLATED.
THEREFORE...A WW IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
