THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS RE-ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GILES COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF PULASKI
  LAWRENCE COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG
  SOUTHERN MARSHALL COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LEWISBURG

* UNTIL 1145 AM CDT

* AT 946 AM CDT...LOCAL OFFICIALS REPORT FLASH FLOODING IN PROGRESS  
  AT SEVERAL LOCATIONS. MANY CITY STREETS AND COUNTY ROADS WERE      
  CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER. 

* A BAND OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCED VERY HEAVY RAIN 
AS THEY MOVED THROUGH THE AREA EARLIER THIS MORNING. ANOTHER AREA OF 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE THROUGH BETWEEN 10 AM AND 11 AM 
CDT. AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE WITH THE NEXT ROUND OF 
STORMS AND WILL LIKELY PROLONG THE FLASH FLOODING.

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS 
BRIDGES, DIPS, OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD. NEVER 
TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM, EVEN A SMALL ONE, ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE 
RISING WATER, MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
