THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHEATHAM, DAVIDSON, AND DICKSON COUNTIES IN TENNESSEE

* UNTIL 1030 PM CDT

* AT 719 PM CDT...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICTED A LINE OF           
  THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING WESTWARD FROM NASHVILLE INTO WEST          
  TENNESSEE. SINCE THESE STORMS ARE MOVING ALMOST DUE EAST, THE      
  SERIES OF STORMS WILL MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS DURING THE COURSE   
  OF THE EVENING, SETTING UP CONDITIONS FOR EXCESSIVE RAINFALL, AND  
  PROBABLE FLASH FLOODING, MAINLY ALONG CREEKS AND ROADWAYS. 

* SOME CITIES IN THE WARNED AREA INCLUDE NASHVILLE, KINGSTON         
  SPRINGS, AND DICKSON.

FLOODING IS THE NUMBER ONE WEATHER KILLER, AND MOST FLASH FLOOD 
DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE ACROSS 
WATER COVERED ROADS, AND DO NOT IGNORE BARRICADES BLOCKING CLOSED
