THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN CANNON, DE KALB COUNTY, RUTHERFORD, AND SOUTHERN WILSON
  COUNTIES IN TENNESSEE

* UNTIL 1130 PM CDT

* AT 833 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF  
  THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL STRETCHING FROM        
  SPARTA, TO WOODBURY, TO MURFREESBORO. SINCE THESE STORMS ARE       
  TRACKING EASTWARD, MOST LOCATIONS IN THE WARNED AREA CAN EXPECT    
  SUSTAINED HEAVY RAINFALL DURING THE EVENING. WHEN ADDED TO THE     
  LARGE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OBSERVED EARLIER TODAY, THE ADDITIONAL
  PRECIPITATION WILL GREATLY INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF FLASH 
  FLOODING.

* SOME CITIES IN THE WARNED AREA INCLUDE WOODBURY, SMITHVILLE,       
  MURFREESBORO, AND WATERTOWN.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR
IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES, DIPS, OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM, EVEN A SMALL ONE, ON FOOT. TO
ESCAPE RISING WATER, MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
