THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MASON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
  KIMBLE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 600 PM CDT

* AT 12 NOON CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED SEVERAL FARM   
  TO MARKET ROAD CLOSURES IN KIMBLE AND MASON COUNTIES. HIGHWAY
  3775 BETWEEN JUNCTION AND ROCKSPRINGS WAS ALSO CLOSED. 

* AT 1210 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS   
  OVER MASON AND EASTERN KIMBLE COUNTIES...DIMINISHING 
  IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL FROM 
  THESE SHOWERS SHOULD BE LESS THAN ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH. 
  HOWEVER...ADDITIONAL SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH 
  HEAVY RAIN COULD DEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON. 

* WITH THE ALREADY SATURATED GROUND AND ONGOING FLASH FLOODING...
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL ADD TO THE FLOODING. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO 
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON
