THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LAC QUI PARLE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 300 AM CDT

* AT 854 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY      
  RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA...AND MORE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER     
  EAST CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA ABOUT TO ENTER THE AREA.

* THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUOUSLY REDEVELOPING OVER THE WARNED AREA...
  RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 1 TO 2 
  INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS MUCH OF LAC QUI PARLE AND 
  NORTHERN YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN IS  
  LIKELY THROUGH MIDNIGHT...WITH MORE HEAVY RAIN POSSIBLE AFTER THAT.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER
COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE 
ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. RESIDENTS SHOULD MONITOR FLOOD 
PRONE AREAS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES AND CULVERTS.
