   WESTERN ARKANSAS                           
   EASTERN OKLAHOMA                           
   NORTHEAST TEXAS                              

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 100 PM UNTIL 700
PM CDT.

 ...THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION...
 
DAMAGING TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL TO 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER...
THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 80 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE
POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 60 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 50 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF FORT SMITH ARKANSAS TO 80
MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF PARIS TEXAS.

VERY UNSTABLE WITH CAPES TO NEAR 3000 J/KG.  CAP HAS WEAKENED OK/TX
BORDER NWD SUFFICIENTLY TO PERMIT STORM INITIATION THIS AREA. 
SHEAR PROFILES FAVORABLE FOR SUPERCELLS WITH 50-60 WLY MID LEVEL
JET COUPLED WITH 20-30 SLY LOW LEVEL JET.  GIVEN THESE PARAMETERS
AND AVAILABLE SURFACE CONVERGENCE AHEAD OF LOW AND ON DRY
LINE...TORNADIC SUPERCELLS WILL BECOME INCREASINGLY LIKELY DURING
AFTERNOON AS INITIAL STORMS CONTINUE DEVELOPING E AND SE.
