THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BEDFORD COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  COFFEE COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  MOORE COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  WARREN COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  
* UNTIL 500 PM CST

* AT 335 PM CST......EVEN THOUGH THE MAJORITY OF THE HEAVY RAIN      
  HAS MOVED OFF TO THE EAST...ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS   
  ARE EXPECTED TO AFFECT THE AREA FOR ANOTHER HOUR OR TWO. FLASH
  FLOODING OCCURS NOT JUST AS THE RAIN IS OCCURING...BUT CAN LAST 
  FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTERWARDS. THEREFORE...THE NATIONAL WEATHER 
  SERVICE HAS EXTENDED THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING. MOORE COUNTY WAS 
  NOT IN THE PREVIOUS FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT COVER THIS AREA. 
  HOWEVER...ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL BE SUFFICIENT TO CAUSE LOCALIZED 
  FLASH FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING AREAS NEAR CREEKS AND      
  STREAMS ACROSS MOORE COUNTY.     

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOkUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
HIGHER GROUND.
