EASTERN OKLAHOMA/NORTHWEST ARKANSAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 1000 PM CDT SUN MAY 16 1999 A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT LOCATED FROM NORTHEAST TO SOUTHEAST KANSAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST...SECOND AREA OF STORMS WHICH DEVELOPED AHEAD OF THE DRY LINE NOW MOVING ACROSS CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. EXPECT THE STORMS IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA WILL WEAKEN SOME AS THEY APPOROACH OUR FORECAST AREA AFTER MIDNIGHT...BUT SOME MAY STILL BE MARGINAL AS THEY MOVE INTO NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA.
