THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

   * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
     WESTERN KANE COUNTY IN UTAH
     
   * UNTIL 700 PM MDT

   * AT 500 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES 
VERY HEAVY RAINS OVER MUCH OF WESTERN KANE COUNTY.   

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS 
AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AND NORMALLY DRY WASHES.  HIGHWAY 89 
FROM KANAB TO BIG WATER...AND FROM ORDERVILLE TO LONG VALLEY 
JUNCTION...MAY ALSO BE IMPACTED BY THESE FLOOD WATERS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN 
DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT 
IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
