THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS ISSUED A

   * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
     SOUTHEASTERN SANPETE COUNTY IN UTAH
     NORTHEASTERN SEVIER COUNTY IN UTAH
     INCLUDING EPHRAIM

   * UNTIL 245 PM MDT

   * AT 1228 PM MDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY    
HEAVY RAINS OVER SOUTHEASTERN SANPETE AND NORTHEASTERN SEVIER COUNTIES. 

   * SPECIFICALLY...THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE 
FLASH FLOODING ALONG THE CANAL CANYON CREEK AREA AND SPRING CITY 
WHICH HAS EXPERIENCED FLASH FLOODING THIS PAST WEEK.  

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM MAY ALSO CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF 
OTHER CREEKS AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS WITHIN THE 
WARNING AREA. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO TRIGGER ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN 
STEEP TERRAIN.

DO NOT DRIVE YOURT VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
