THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ANSON COUNTY

* UNTIL 720 AM EDT

* AT 515 AM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN OVER ANSON COUNTY. THE ANSON
  COUNTY SHERIFF OFFICE REPORTED THAT A FEW ROADS WERE STILL CLOSED
  DUE TO HIGH WATER AND THAT THE CREEKS AND STREAMS WERE STILL
  RISING.

WHILE THE OVERALL RAINFALL INTENSITY HAS DECREASED...RAINFALL RATES
AROUND A QUARTER OF AN INCH PER HOUR WILL CONTINUE THROUGH 630
AM. THIS ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL QUICKLY RUN-OFF CAUSING RAIN-
SWOLLEN CREEKS AND STREAM TO RISE EVEN HIGHER.

EVENTS...CONTINUE TO MONITOR YOUR LOCAL CONDITIONS AND MOVE TO
