THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WASHTENAW COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN LOWER MICHIGAN

* UNTIL 800 AM EDT

* AT 555 AM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER WASHTENAW COUNTY... MOVING
  NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED SERIOUS URBAN FLOODING IN ANN ARBOR...WITH
  WATER RISING UP TO THE ROOFS OF SOME CARS. OVER THREE INCHES OF
  RAIN FELL IN WASHTENAW COUNTY BETWEEN 1 AM AND 6 AM.

THE BIGGEST THREAT FOR FLOODING WILL BE IN URBAN AREAS...
ESPECIALLY ANN ARBOR...AND IN FLOOD PRONE OUTLYING AREAS. MODERATE
TO HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE IN THE COUNTY THROUGH AT LEAST 7 AM.
