THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DETROIT/PONTIAC HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LENAWEE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN LOWER MICHIGAN

* UNTIL 800 AM EDT

* AT 538 AM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER LENAWEE COUNTY... MOVING
  NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED SIGNIFICANT STREET FLOODING IN ADRIAN...
  AND HIGH WATER TREATENING VEHICLES IN OUTLYING AREAS.

OVER TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN ADRIAN SINCE 1 AM. THREE TO
FOUR INCHES HAD FALLEN IN THE WESTERN PART OF LENAWEE COUNTY. RUNOFF
FROM THIS RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE FLOODING...ESPECIALLY
IN AREAS THAT DRAIN POORLY.

RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO TAPER OFF FROM SOUTH TO NORTH AS THE MORNING
PROGRESSES.

DON'T DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADS! MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN
