THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY UT HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 220 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...CENTRAL KANE COUNTY
 
AT 120 PM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES
NORTHEAST OF KANAB MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.  RADAR INDICATES
HAIL IN EXCESS OF ONE INCH WITH RAINFALL ESTIMATES NEAR TWO INCHES
IN AN HOUR.  WASHES AND SMALL STREAMS THAT ARE IN THE VERMILLION
AND WHITE CLIFFS AREA MAY FILL QUICKLY DUE TO RAPID RUNOFF.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 57 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
