THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY UT HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 805 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...EASTERN GARFIELD COUNTY
 
AT 6:30 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS FOLLOWING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM
IN EASTERN GARFIELD COUNTY...NORTH OF UPPER LAKE POWELL AND
BULLFROG. THIS STORM WAS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINS ACCORDING TO
DOPPLER RADAR.  FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY ALONG THE WASHES AND
STREAMS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF UPPER LAKE POWELL...NEAR THE DIRTY
DEVIL RIVER...NORTH WASH...AND TRACHYTE CREEK.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE RISING WATER.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE TO ESCAPE FLOOD
WATERS.  DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TOT FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS
RISING.
