THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY UT HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD/SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 120 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...SOUTHWESTERN KANE COUNTY
 
AT 1230 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR KANAB
ALONG THE ARIZONA BORDER.  SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED 1 INCH DIAMETER
HAIL AND VERY HEAVY RAIN WITH THIS STORM.

THE STORM IS MOVING TOWARDS THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL IMPACT
THE JOHNSON CANYON AREA.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE D AMAGING WIND...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY
LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.

HEAVY THUNDERSTORM RAINS CAN QUICKLY FLOOD ROADS.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
