IN EAST CENTRAL OHIO ...BELMONT COUNTY...MONROE COUNTY IN NORTH WEST VIRGINIA ...WETZEL COUNTY AT 250 PM DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED RAPIDLY INTENSIFYING THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER WETZEL COUNTY WEST VIRGINIA... AND EASTERN MONROE AND EASTERN BELMONT COUNTIES IN OHIO. THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF DUMPING AN INCH OR MORE OF RAIN IN AN HOUR OR LESS AS THEY CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS. RAPID RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS CAN CAUSE STREAMS AND CREEKS TO FLOOD QUICKLY. LOWLAND...POOR DRAINAGE...AND ROADWAY FLOODING IS LIKELY.
