755 WUUS1 KJAN 102155 RRA SVRJAN MSC073-102245- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS 454 PM CDT THU JUL 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 545 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI ...LAMAR COUNTY AT 454 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE TOWN OF SUMRALL. THIS STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH. THE STORM WILL GENERALLY MOVE ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 589. DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. < 64
