000 TTAA00 KJAN 100420 RRA SVRJAN MSC015-100500- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON MS 1118 PM CDT WED JUL 9 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI ...NORTHERN CARROLL COUNTY AT 1118 PM DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ENTERING NORTHERN CARROLL COUNTY. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTH SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH AND WILL PASS EAST OF CARROLLTON AND NEAR MCCARLEY BY 1145 PM. DAMAGING WINDS AND HAIL ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. < 64
