THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  200 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTHEAST TEXAS
 
   ...DELTA COUNTY...HENDERSON COUNTY...HOPKINS COUNTY
   ...LAMAR COUNTY...RAINS COUNTY...VAN ZANDT COUNTY
 
AT 955 PM CDT....NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THAT
HEAVY RAIN CONTINUED OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF NORTH TEXAS. DOPPLER RADAR
ESTIMATES THAT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WITH AN ADDITIONAL
2 INCHES POSSIBLE. THIS WILL RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BBEGINS RISING.
