THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...FANNIN COUNTY...GRAYSON COUNTY...KAUFMAN COUNTY
 
AT 935 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWED THAT HEAVY RAIN
CONTINUED ACROSS NORTH TEXAS EAST OF A GAINESVILLE TO DALLAS LINE. THIS
RAIN WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST BY MIDNIGHT. HOWEVER...DOPPLER RADAR
ESTIMATES THAT 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN OVER
GRAYSON AND FANNIN COUNTIES. ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RESULT IN FLASH
FLOODING.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
