THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CORPUS CHRISTI HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY...S... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...CALHOUN COUNTY...VICTORIA COUNTY AT 715 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM LOCATED FROM VICTORIA TO NEAR SEADRIFT. THE STORM IS MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH. VERY HEAVY RAINFALL LEADING TO FLOODING OF STREETS AND ROADWAYS ACROSS THE AREA IS LIKELY. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS TH`AT FLOODING IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.

THIS UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL KEEP TSRA GOING WELL INTO TONIGHT. TSRA WILL SLIDE INTO THE VCT AREA BY 4 PM AND CONTINUE TO SLIDE SOUTHWARD HOWEVER AT THE SAME TIME OTHER SCATTERED STRONG TSRA WILL BUILD FURTHER TO THE WEST. WITH THIS TYPE UNSTABLE ENVIROMENT..SEVERE STORMS POSSIBLE ALONG WITH FLASH FLOODING FOR VCT ZONES SO WILL KEEP WATCH UP TONIGHT.
