151 WUUS1 KALB 031616 RRA SVRALB NYC091-113-031715- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ALBANY NY 1215 PM EDT THU JUL 3 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY NY HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 115 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN EAST NEW YORK ...SARATOGA COUNTY IN NORTH NEW YORK ...WARREN COUNTY AT 1215 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NORTHVILLE. THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST ABOUT 35 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE NEAR - 5 MILES EAST OF NORTHVILLE AT 1220 PM. CORINTH AT 1240 PM. 5 MILES SOUTH OF WEST GLENS FALLS AT 1255 PM. 5 MILES SOUTH OF SOUTH GLENS FALLS AT 1255 PM. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
