AT 640 PM EDT READINGS FROM CRABTREE CREEK AND RADAR ESTIMATES OF
RAINFALL INDICATE THAT CRABTREE CREEK WILL FLOOD ONCE AGAIN. AT WAKE
FOREST ROAD THE LATEST READING WAS 12.6 FEET AND RISING. THE FLOOD STAGE
IS 13 FEET. FLOODING ON ATLANTIC IS OCCURRING AT THIS LEVEL DOWNSTREAM.
AT 13 FEET FLOODING OF THE AL SMITH BUICK PARKING LOT BEGINS. FLOODING
ALONG CAPITAL BOULEVARD IS ALSO LIKELY OCCURRING.
 
PERSONS IN WAKE COUNTY SHOULD REMAIN OFF THE ROADS THIS EVENING.
REMEMBER...75 PERCENT OF ALL FLOOD RELATED DEATHS RESULT FROM
PEOPLE DRIVING $INTO FLOOD WATERS OR CHILDREN PLAYING NEAR FLOODED
CREEKS OR STORM DRAINS.  AVOID DRIVING THROUGH FLOOD WATERS EVEN IF
THEY APPEAR SHALLOW AND KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM FLOOD WATERS.
