000 TTAA00 KRDU 102107 FFWRDU NCC007-167-102300- BULLETIN - EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RALEIGH/DURHAM NC 503 PM EDT TUE SEP 10 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH/DURHAM HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...NORTHERN ANSON COUNTY...SOUTHERN STANLY COUNTY AT 500 PM DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER THE AREA DURING THE PAST COUPLE OF HOURS. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS PRODUCING ADDITIONAL HEAVY DOWNPOURS. REPORT ANY FLOODING PROMPTLY TO EMERGENCY OFFICIALS FOR RELAY TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
