IN NORTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA ...FRANKLIN COUNTY...WAKE COUNTY...WARREN COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA ...HALIFAX COUNTY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR AT 400 PM INDICATED NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN NEAR A LINE FROM SOUTHWEST WAKE COUNTY...SOUTHWEST OF RALEIGH...THROUGH FRANKLIN COUNTY INCLUDING LOUISBURG TO WARREN AND HALIFAX COUNTIES INCLUDING WARRENTON AND ROANOKE RAPIDS. RADAR SHOWS THAT RAINFALL OF ONE TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR ARE POSSIBLE FROM THESE STORMS AND MANY OF THE STORMS ARE CROSSING THE SAME AREAS REPEATEDLY. THESE CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY TO CONTINUE THROUGH 600 PM THIS EVENING AND POSSIBLY BEYOND. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT.
