SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA
 
   ...HARRIS COUNTY...SOUTHERN TROUP COUNTY
 
AT 1115 PM EST RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE
ALABAMA BORDER WEST OF HAMILTON AND SOUTHWEST OF LA GRANGE.
MOVEMENT WAS TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
 
DAMAGING WIND AND HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNLESS IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL THE STORM
HAS PASSED.  MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT DRIVE INTO LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
