000 TTAA00 KSAT 280227 RRA FFWSAT TXC019-280630- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 825 PM CST SUN OCT 27 1996 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 AM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...BANDERA COUNTY HEAVY RAINS CONTINUE OVER PARTS OF BANDERA COUNTY AND ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THE NEXT FEW HOURS...PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR. FLOODING ALONG LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND OTHER LOW LYING ROADS IS LIKELY. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.
