FLOOD WARNING FOR URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  115 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

   ...ASHLAND COUNTY...CUYAHOGA COUNTY...LORAIN COUNTY
   ...MEDINA COUNTY
 
DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN OVER
LORAIN...WESTERN CUYAHOGA...MEDINA AND NORTHERN ASHLAND COUNTIES.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN THOSE AREAS HAVE BEEN 3 TO 6 INCHES. THE RAIN WILL
BEGIN TO DECREASE IN INTENSITY BY NOON AND ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN MAY
OCCUR BETWEEN 9 AM AND NOON IN THOSE COUNTIES.
 
SOME FLOODED BASEMENTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN MEDINA AND WESTERN CUYAHOGA
COUNTY. SOME ROADS WERE ALSO FLOODED IN THE STRONGSVILLE AREA.
FLOODING OF ROADS AND STREAMS ARE LIKELY.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
:ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
