SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO 917 AM CDT THU MAY 18 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI ...SOUTHEASTERN DALLAS COUNTY...LACLEDE COUNTY AT 917 AM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR ABOUT 9 MILES NORTHWEST OF MARSHFIELD MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. THIS STORM WILL THE AFFECT THE TOWNS OF CONWAY AND PHILLIPSBURG BY 930 AM AND LEBANON BY 945 AM. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO QUARTER SIZE...WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND MAY PRODUCE TORNADOES.
