FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  530 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...EASTERN FALLS COUNTY...SOUTHEASTERN HILL COUNTY
   ...LIMESTONE COUNTY
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS

AT 130 AM CDT WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF HEAVY
RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM WAXAHACHIE SOUTHWARD THROUGH GROESBECK TO
EAST OF AUSTIN. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.
 
RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF THREE TO FOUR INCHES HAVE OCCURRED OVER THIS
AREA SINCE 1030 PM. THESE STORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE ONE TO THREE MORE
INCHES OVER THIS AREA RESULTING IN FLASH FLOODING.
 
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
