FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...EASTLAND COUNTY...PALO PINTO COUNTY
 
AT 601 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATEHR SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
EXTREMELY HEAVY RAINS CONTINUED OVER PALO PINTO AND EASTLAND COUNTIES.
RADAR ESTIMATES BETWEEN TWO AND FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN SINCE
300 PM.
 
HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS WITH ONE TO THREE
ADDITIONAL INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE. LOW-LYING NAND FLOOD PRONE AREAS WILL
QUICKLY BECOME FLOODED WITH EXCESSIVE RUNOFF.
 
MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO AVOID DRIVING INTO FLOODED AREAS WHERE A CAR CAN
EASILY BE SWEPT FROM THE ROADWAY BY RAPIDLY RUNNING WATER.
