FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...HILL COUNTY...LIMESTONE COUNTY
 
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORT THAT FLASH FLOODING FROM RUNOFF STILL
POSES A PROBLEM IN HILL AND LIMESTONE COUNTIES. AT LAST REPORT...WATER
WAS OVER HIGHWAY 171 BETWEEN MALONE AND HUBBARD...AND OVER INTERSTATE 35
ABOUT 1 AND 1/2 MILES SOUTH OF ABBOTT. A BRIDGE WAS REPORTED FLOODED
NEAR HUBBARD AND STREET FLOODING IN MEXIA. RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE
BECOME WIDELY SCATTERED...BUT LOCAL ACCUMULATIONS OF RAINFALL UP TO AN
INCH ARE STILL POSSIBLE...FURTHER AGGRAVATING THE RUNOFF PROBLEM.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAYD BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
