FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  115 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...HILL COUNTY...LIMESTONE COUNTY
 
AT 915 AM CDT DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN BETWEEN MEXIA AND HILLSBORO MOVING TO THE WEST
NORTHWEST AT 20 KTS. RAINFALL OBSERVERS REPORT THAT 5.5 INCHES OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN IN THE LAKE MEXIA AREA SINCE 5 AM...LOCAL OFFICIALS REPORT
THAT SOME STREET FLOODING IS OCCURING IN MALONE IN HILL COUNTY.
 
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT.  MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.  DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY.  NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN `A SMALL
