000 TTAA00 KSAT 301213 SVRSAT TXC465-301315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 709 AM CDT TUE MAY 30 1995 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ...WESTERN VAL VERDE COUNTY AT 710 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH LARGE HAIL ALONG THE VAL VERDE-TERRELL COUNTY LINE MOVING EAST SOUTHEAST TOWARD NORTH CENTRAL VAL VERDE COUNTY. THE STORM WILL TRAVEL JUST TO THE SOUTH OF PANDALE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WINDS CAN REACH SPEEDS OVER 60 MPH. THESE WINDS BLOW DOWN TREES...POWER LINES...AND SEVERELY DAMAGE MOBILE HOMES... SOMETIMES BUILDINGS. VERY LARGE HAIL CAN INJURE ANYONE CAUGHT OUTSIDE.
