THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  815 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...EASTERN COMAL COUNTY
 
...FLOODED ROADWAYS IN EASTERN COMAL COUNTY...
 
OVERNIGHT RAINS HAVE AVERAGED BETWEEN 1 AND 2.5 INCHES AND HAVE CAUSED
FLOODING OVER ROADWAYS.  THE GUADALUPE RIVER SOUTH OF CANYON DAM IS OUT
OF ITS BANKS AND HAS FLOODED RIVER ROAD.  AS MOTORISTS VETNURE OUT THIS
MORNING WATCH FOR AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
 
EVENTHOUGH RAIHNS HAVE ENDED THE WATER WILL BE SLOW TO RECEDE THIS
MORNING.
 
 
AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS.  TRAVELERS SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS.  IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND.
