TXZ183-202-282200- SPECCIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AUSTIN/SAN ANTONIO TX 353 PM CDT SUN MAY 28 1995 A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS IN MEXICO ARE HEADED NORTH AND NORTHEAST TOWARD LAKE AMISTAD...THE CITY OF DEL RIO AND THE EXTREME WESTERN EDGE OF KINNEY COUNTY. THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO THESE AREAS BY 445 PM. THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE WINDS GUSTS OVER 40 MPH...HAIL AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. BOATERS SHOULD GET OFF OF LAKE AMISTAD AND SEEK SHELTER NOW. ALL PERSONS IN THE AREA SHOULD PREPARE TO MOVE TO SAFETY AS THE THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES.
