FLOOD WARNING FOR SMALL STREAMS AND URBAN AREAS EFFECTIVE UNTIL 330 AM
EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

AT 125 AM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO SHOW
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN SENECA COUNTY. THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. THIS RAIN...IN ADDITION
TO HEAVY RAINS EARLIER IN THE NIGHT...WILL LIKELY PRODUCE FLOODING OF
SMALL STREAMS AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. AT 120 AM THE SENECA COUNTY
SHERIFF REPORTED HIGH WATER IN SOME AREAS OF NORTHERN SENECA COUNTY.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
