IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS ...SOUTHERN FINNEY COUNTY...NORTHERN HASKELL COUNTY AT 136 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ON THE FINNEY/HASKEL COUNTY LINE...18 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GARDEN CITY. THE STORM IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 10 MILES AN HOUR GENERALLY OVER OPEN TERRAIN. IF YOU LIVE IN THE EFFECTED AREAS...SEEK SHELTER NOW IN A STURDY BUILDING AND PREPARE FOR LARGE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS.
