MILES SOUTH OF LAKIN..0R 30 MILES WEST OF GARDEN CITY. MOVEMENT WAS EAST
AT 10 MILES AN HOUR.
 
THIS EXTENDS THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR THE SOUTHWEST PART OF
KEARNY COUNTY.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH COUNTINUES FOR THE WESTERN HALF OF
SOUTHWEST KANSAS UNTIL 11 PM CDT...

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED IN NORTHWEST KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST
COLORADO AT 7 PM.  A DELAYED REPORT OF GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL WAS RECEIVED
AT THIS OFFICE AT 655 PM.  THE HAIL OCCURRED AT ABOUT 530 PM...10 MILES
NORTH AND ONE ONE WEST OF COOLIDGE ON THE HAMILTON/GREELY COUNTY LINE.

IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS...NEWLY DEVELOPED THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN SOUTHERN
HAMILTON...NORTHEAST STANTON AND EASTERN GRANT COUNTY. AT THIS TIME THEY
WERE NOT SEVERE...BUT WERE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY
HEAVY RAIN.

THE STORMS WILL BE MOVING MAINLY ACROSS OPEN COUNTRY THROUGH 745 PM.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTHWEST KANSAS THIS
EVENING AND TONIGHT.  PERSONS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING
