THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1015 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS

   ...WESTERN STANTON COUNTY

AT 928 PM...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUES TO INDICATE SEVERAL TORADOES IN
EXTREME WESTERN STANTON COUNTY...AND IN EXTREME EASTERN COLORADO.

THE TORNADOES WERE MOVING EAST AND NORTHEAST ABOUT 10 MILES AN HOUR.

THEREFORE...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR WESTERN STANTON COUNTY HAS BEEN
EXTENDED.  SEVERAL REPORTS OF TORNADOES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED NORTH OF
SAUNDERS NEAR HIGHWAYS 160 AND 116.  THE AREA CONCERNED IN ABOUT 35
MILES WEST OF ULYSSES.

PERSONS IN WESTERN STANTON COUNTY...INCLUDING MANTER SHOULD STILL TAKE
TORNADO PRECAUTIONS.

IN ADDITION...VERY LARGE HAIL...HIGH WIND AND TORRENTIALY RAINS ARE
LIKELY.

PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE... GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
POSSIBLE.  AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A
STURDIER BUILDING OR GET INTO A DITCH OR CULVERT.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
