THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST CLOUD MINNESOTA   HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA
 
   ...BENTON COUNTY...NORTHWESTERN STEARNS COUNTY
 
INCLUDING THE CITIES OF SAUK RAPIDS...ST CLOUD AND FOLEY.
 
AT 900 AM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED JUST NORTH OF
ST CLOUD MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. LARGE HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED
WITH THIS STORM. THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE THROUGH
THE ST CLOUD AND SAUK RAPIDS AREAS BETWEEN 900 AM AND 915 AM
CDT AND WILL MOVE INTO THE VICINITY OF FOLEY BY 930 AM CDT.
 
 
IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER FROM THE WEATHER IN A
STRONG BUILDING.  DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS.
STAY INSIDE AWAY FROM WINDOWS UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED.
