FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  800 PM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
 
   ...HAYS COUNTY...TRAVIS COUNTY...WILLIAMSON COUNTY
 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...WITH HEAVY RAINS ARE MOVING THROUGH
HAYS... TRAVIS AND WILLIAMSON COUNTIES AND HEAVY RAINS ARE EXPECTED TO
FOR A FEW HOURS AS LINE OF INTENSE RAINS MOVE OVER THESE COUNTIES.
 
HAYS COUNTY IS ALREADY SEEING FLOODING OF SOME COUNTY ROADS AND WITH
MORE RAIN ON THE WAY THIS WILL ADD TO THE FLOODING PROBLEMS.
TRAVIS AND WILLIAMSON COUNTIES ARE TOTALLY SATURATED AND THESE
HEAVY RAINS WILL QUICKLY CAUSE IMMEDIATE FLOODING OF LOW AREA AND
SOME ROADS. CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL ALSO POSE IMMEDIATE PROBLEMS.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
