THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  630 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
 
IN SOUTH TEXAS
 
   ...EDWARDS COUNTY...REAL COUNTY
 
HONDO RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN INCREASING OVER EDWARDS AND REAL
COUNTIES. THE AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN ARE FORMING TO THE SOUTH AND MOVING
NORTHWARD ONE BEHIND THE OTHER WHICH GREATLY INCREASES THE CHANCES OF
LARGE ACCUMULATIONS OF RAINFALL. THE SOIL IS SATURATED IN THESE
COUNTIES FROM RAIN WHICH HAS ALREADY FALLEN DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS.
THIS ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF LOW WATER
CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
 
MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID ALREADY FLOODED AREAS AND SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS FLOODED ROADS. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...LEAVE IT AND MOVE
IMMEDIATELY TO HIGHER GROUND.
