THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY

   IN THE CENTRAL PART OF KANSAS
      SOUTHERN DICKINSON

AT 713 PM CDT A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY THE ROXBURY FIRE
DEPARTMENT JUST EAST OF ROXBURY OR 20 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SALINA.
THE TORNADO WAS MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH AND WILL BE IN
THE ELMO AREA BY 730 PM CDT.

THIS TORNADO WAS ON THE GROUND AND CAUSING DAMAGE.  ALL PEOPLE
NEAR THIS DANGEROUS STORM SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.  FIND
SHELT#ER BELOW GROUND LEVEL...IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

GREAT BEND OR JUST NORTH OF PAWNEE ROCK.  THE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE IN
THE GREAT BEND AREA BY 415 PM.  THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
