000 TTAA00 KMAF 291954 SVRMAF TXC317-292100- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND TX 252 PM CDT TUE MAY 29 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...SOUTHERN MARTIN COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITIES OF STANTON AND LENORAH... AT 248 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED THAT A SEVERE THUNDERSTOM WAS MOVING INTO SOUTHERN MARTIN COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
