000 TTAA00 KMAF 292054 SVRMAF TXC033-292200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIDLAND TX 352 PM CDT TUE MAY 29 1990 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 500 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN NORTHWEST TEXAS ...NORTHERN BORDEN COUNTY INCLUDING THE CITY OF GAIL... AT 350 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED THAT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO WESTERN BORDEN COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 20 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WA3RNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
